FINAL EXPENSES, THE PURPLE CROSS PLAN

Lock in today's prices!

PURPLE CROSS RECOMMENDS FOUR PLANS.

Our plans are the most frequent choices made by families today. Variations of all these plans are available as well, such as an immediate burial for a veteran in one of our National Cemeteries.

Look over the different options and decide which package best fits your funeral wishes. Then let your Purple Cross representative help you get a price for your city and state.

Purple Cross Plans grow in value!

Purple Cross Plans grow in value* TAX-FREE for the lifetime of the insured.

All death benefits are TAX FREE at the time of need.

*Some states may be exempt.

Regardless of the type of Purple Cross Plan selected, everyone in Washington State always receives more money back (at the time of death) then what they have paid into their Plan.

When applying for DSHS assistance (nursing home care) all funds placed in a Purple Cross Plan may be made exempt. This means that what you set aside in your Purple Cross Plan does not count as a asset against you. Many individuals may have more then $2,000.00 in cash assets when applying for Medicaid assistance. (DSHS) If the excess funds over $2,000.00 are placed in an IRREVOCABLE Purple Cross Plan this excess is protected to pay for Final Expenses in the future (protection for the client and their families).

For those that qualify, time payment plans are available with full insurance coverage. (meaning if death occurs while making payments and all payments are current, Purple Cross will pay the full death benefit.) There is no additional charge for the insurance coverage in Washington State.

Traditional Cremation Plan

Once you realize how important it is to pre-plan your final arrangements, it’s easy to begin your plan.

One of the advantages of cremation is that it provides you with increased flexibility when you make your funeral and cemetery arrangements. You might, for example, choose to have a funeral service before the cremation; a memorial service at the time of cremation or after the cremation with the urn present; or a committal service at the final disposition of cremated remains. Funeral or memorial services can be held in a place of worship, a funeral home, a crematorium chapel or any facility of your preference.

The Traditional Cremation Plan includes:

  • Removal to funeral home within a 30 mile radius

  • Filing of death certificate and permits

  • Professional services of a funeral director and staff

  • Embalming, preparation and viewing

  • Visitation prior to service

  • Funeral service at a funeral chapel or facility of preference within a 30 mile radius (Fees for space rental not included)

  • Memorial register book and cards

  • Funeral coach to local cemetery

  • Urn

  • Cremation fees

  • Casket not included

Direct
Cremation Plan

It's harder on your family if you don't talk about your wishes. Begin your pre-planning story today.

A simple or direct cremation is when the deceased is cremated without any visitation or services.

The Direct Cremation Plan includes:

  • Removal to funeral home within a 30 mile radius

  • Filing of death certificate and permits

  • Professional services of a funeral director and staff

  • Delivery of cremated remains anywhere in the continental U. S.

  • Urn

  • Cremation fees

Final Expenses,
The Purple Cross Plan

Plan ahead! Don’t leave funeral planning to your loved ones during one of the most painful times in their lives.

Our Final Expenses, The Purple Cross Plan takes into consideration much for than funeral or cremation expenses. Often there are numerous additional cost's that must be paid, such as paramedic and ambulance fee's. Emergency room and insurance co-pays. Unpaid bills, taxes and attorney fee's as well as cash to loved ones and cemetery expenses. All these additional expenses should be carefully considered before finalizing your plan. THROUGH THE PURPLE CROSS PLAN, ALL THESE EXPENSES CAN BE CALCULATED AND PROVIDED FOR, AND PAID AT THE TIME OF NEED.
